Arizona Coalition for Change is a Black-led organization with a dynamic multicultural team that empowers everyday people to transform their community through building civic power, leadership development, and community collaboration. We advocate for lasting progressive public policies that change the dynamics for our communities by putting people first. We work to develop and uplift voices in our communities to take on our nation's most pressing issues.

Our Impact

We are building a powerful, dynamic, diverse and relentless team committed to tackling the state and nations most pressing issues. We firmly believe we are the change we’ve been seeking.

We are Black-led, with a powerful multi-racial team, made stronger by our ability to collaborate and leverage our diversity across gender, age, upbringing, education, talent and life experience. We are committed to high standards, high impact and working with deep respect for one another, our members and our partners. Until justice is real.

Year round, our team works to ensure members of our BIPOC communities have fair and equitable access to participate in the democratic process. We ARE the New American Majority, and it is our mission to have all voices represented at the table.

MFV & AZC4C v. Hobbs

Amidst a pandemic, underserved and under-represented communities faced disproportionate obstacles in order to participate in the 2020 General Election. In response Arizona Coalition for Change and our partners at Mi Familia Vota made history in winning a preliminary injunction to extend the voter registration deadline. This allowed over 42,000 Arizonans to register to vote, regardless of party and catalyzed one more step towards creating equity in our democratic process.

Black-led Leadership Development

As a Black-led organization, we firmly believe we are the change we've been seeking. We empower the next generation of leadership through a variety of programs like the Young Black Organizer Project, Justice 2021, and our Youth Democracy Initiative; that uplifts our Black youth & communities through opportunities to learn how to be civically engaged, mobilize their community; and create sustainable progressive change in the socio-political systems.
